When child support is so high that the parent receiving it can stop working and still be considered in the top 1-2%, there’s a problem.
I do feel the money should be distributed in a way where it only benefits the child. If the child is too young to appreciate the money, put it in a trust so the parent can’t touch it. Give the parent some money to pay for essentials but this shyt is ridiculous and how men get used as a meal ticket.

shyt should go on some kind of card that can make purchases only at certain places.
Or better yet there should be an online account where a budget is made for the monthly expenses. Gas money, food, clothes etc and the purchases are itemized and tracked. This wouldn't be for everyone as there's a cost to have this type of administration but..for the really rich I would pay for something like that to avoid bullshyt spending.
