Halo 1 anniversary didn't have the halo 1 multiplayer. It was a full remake of the single player with maps created for halo reach (that you could buy separate as dlc)....so common sense would tell you that's why it sold only a certain amount. It didn't have any longevity because it was just a single player remake, multiplayer is where a game has legs so ppl who already beat the campaign hundreds of times didn't bother coppin it. If it had halo 1's multiplayer it would have sold like hot cakes and everyone would have stopped playing reach, which would have been bad for business because Reach was the current version of halo at the time and why would you cripple your newest title by releasing the best halo game while the newer title is trying to thrive? Now halo 2 will drop while halo 4 is no longer a factor.
Ppl stopped playing halo 4 because the multiplayer was changed too much, not because they got tired of halo. It's one of the reasons why halo 2 is going to sell like crazy, because it's a good halo game. It would still be one of the most played online games right now if the servers didn't go down. Imma need you non halo fans or young gamers to ignore this thread, y'all looking real stupid out here. nikkas coming into the thread just to troll or are way out of touch with the series n fukkin up the thread with garbage ass posts. Fam...343 took over halo after bungie. There has only been one 343, you're mistaking them for the original developers...bungie. Halo 4s gameplay has literally nothing to do with halo 2....do you know what a remake is? They are basically going to bring the gfx and look of the game into next gen. That's it. That's what remakes are lol. The multiplayer will be the same as the original halo 2, just prettier.

Jesus fukkin Christ. Are you this inept my man? 343 handles halo now. They will be doing the remake aka making it look next gen. Did you not see what they did with the halo 1 remake? All they did was make it prettier...the game played exactly like it did back in 2001. The same will happen with halo 2, it will play exactly like it did back in the day....with better gfx. I don't know how much clearer I can be.
