Halo 5 was completely average

People in here are bananas taking that the SP don't count. 
It was literally 50/50 back on the original Xbox. The story was very solid and the combat mechanics are what fed you both single and multi player. You could buy it for both and replay ability was strong.
Noe you got one of the best takes on FPS combat turning into CoD to push units.

I have heard this sentiment from a few people but I never hear why they think Halo 5’s MP is so great.
I am legitimately interested in hearing what people think makes its MP so great.
I own Halo 5, i’ve even played its MP as recently as May. I use it to just to get a Halo fix in. To me, its good, not great. Its a Halo fix.
Halo 5 was such a disappointing and forgettable entry into the series.
If Halo Infinite doesn’t deliver, the franchise will officially be legacy only status for me.
The saddest thing about Halo 5 to me is that 343 set themselves up with a huge alley-oop with Halo 4. Cortana sacrificed herself to save Chief, Master Chief for the first time in the series became human and was struggling with loss...they could have doubled down on this with Halo 5 and really had Chief losing it and struggling to find meaning in endless war.
Instead these idiots decided to introduce a new main character? Like how does that even make sense.
The scene below (it's time stamped) was so deep...it was beyond anything Bungie had ever done narrative-wise. You can tell the conversation really challenged Chief and reminded him that he was human and not a machine. I really wish they explored this more...

Best Halo since Halo 2.
Reach was a big middle finger to Halo Hardcore players. It's the reason I will never support Bungie ever again.
I heard good things about Reach after nerfing the Bloom but I actually never play that version.
reach always went hard to me, i put it near 2. i guess hardcore halomans liked sniping with shotguns? sounds cheesy asf to me
This came with my XB1. Played a bit and then threw the entire console in the bushes.
Multiplayer fire
MP is alright. Campaign from what I played was pretty bland. Like 1/8 tsp salt in a 5 cup pot of soup bland.
