halo dlc requirement wtf

My halo brehs, what is up with this dlc shyt not letting me play infinity slayer

Halo is getting thrown in the bushes until we get to the bottom of this.

343i will be turning Infinity Slayer in to a DLC-required playlist, meaning that you will need the Majestic Map Pack in order to play Infinity Slayer

someone come explain this to me because it don't make a damn lick of sense

It's an attempt to make people who bought the maps happy by getting the chance to actually play them.

343 is fukking retarded though they did this when the population isn't there for it & right before new stuff starts coming to kill the numbers even more. I've never seen a company work so hard to make people not want to really play their game.

I remember in Halo 2 days you could buy the maps right away or wait around for awhile and they would become free, (i think it was a few months) why didn't they try something like that? oh yeah because they sold those stupid season passes to people and they want there moneys worth but the game isn't generating enough money apparently so instead we have a basic multiplayer mode being locked off.

It's always been this way for Halo, right? After a certain amount of map packs are released, you can only play that unranked "fun" game mode.

Even when I ended up downloading the content, it still wouldnt let me play. I called microsoft and they refunded me.

Halo 4 is cool, liked it a lot more than Reach too but I stopped playing around the time the Castle map pack came out
