After halo 3, the franchise went down the tubes. Good riddance

Game really ain't hit the same since 3. Gameplay really hasn't made the leap in the last 2 gens.

This game had a bad launch and they took months to fix the problems. By the time things got fixed the hype died down. The only people playing Halo rn is die-hard fans. The same thing happen with Gears 5 to a extent. They were they own downfall.

I never believed that campaign dlc was ever coming out . For as good as Series X hardware is the software output is pathetic.

Man, I don't want to be harsh, but the output has been pretty disappointing. I like my Series X, but it's pretty frustrating that I've had this thing for almost two years, and I'm still waiting for it to fulfill the potential I got it for.

I ran these bullet points by a few people. While it's true that 343 is focused on multiplayer, the stuff about campaign DLC being scrapped is false (I don't think there was much of that planned in the first place), and a lot of this is either wrong or just speculation.

This is kinda why I don’t think Microsoft should own activision unless they go multiplat. You already know they are going to use them for only call of duty and it will definitely be the finisher if they go full blown exclusive with the ip.

They suck at making their studios diversify their portfolio of games.

Good, 343 had all the resources and tine yet still failed. Either fire them or tell them to make a new ip. I don't wanna see another Halo game, unless it's id doing it.
