A few years ago I thought about starting a business where I was essentially a loan shark with this model:
I offer to pay someone’s rent for $2000
I get the title of their car as collateral
They pay me $100 a month for 24 months.
they get to save 2k off rip and it allows them to get ahead on their bills/save money
I’ll be making 20% on a loan that they don’t really know they are taking out
the car note is just a backup just in case

It’s so rough out there for some people
It's so cute thinking most married women save and split financial responsibilities with their husbands
If you got a financially responsible and supportive,great for you but I assure you most married men don't
The majority of the people I know are terrible with money. They will talk down on you for having a 10 year-old car while also calling you because they cant make the payments on their brand new car.
Its agitating when people ask me for financial advice and either do the opposite or get mad when I say cut the spending. I don't even offer to help anymore, I've come to realize some people enjoy being broke.
