Blame it on the Hamburglar.
Police in New Jersey are on the hunt for the criminal behind the theft of $100,000 of hamburger patties.
Police say it happened earlier this week in Linden.
The owner of BMG Logistics on W. Edgar Road says that a 40' refrigerated shipping container containing the hamburger patties was stolen from their lot. It was packed with 3,000 cartons of patties bound for the Netherlands.
He says it happened sometime between April 8th at 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. the next morning.
The container was stored on a 2006 trailer with a California license plate 4HR1817.
