Exactly. Most dudes just dismissed Gucci because he was from the south. But he was Always lyrical.

People think lyricism itself denotes talking about a particular subject, or associate it with being a backpacker. Your point is very facile, Frank.

Gucci is lyrical. He's got the ability to paint a scene or image with his words as strong as any of them. It may be narrow in subject matter, but it runs deep on description and detail.

But haters are gonna hate regardless... And you're only doing it now because La Flare is popping.

:ehh: yeah I cant argue wit that

Look he aint lyrical as far as word selection....multis and other technical aspects

But when it comes to illustrating a theme or situation it definitely has clarity

Regardless how simplistic and crude it may sound

For example he has a verse I n the BURRPRINT describing a situation which defined the moves he had to make early in his career..

I interviewed someone who was familiar with gucci and done business with Gucci

Dude admitted he dont personally care for Gucci cause they fell out over that situation

But the way Gucci described it in his rap was 100% authentic

Here is the particular verse from "FROWNY FACES"

Some n1gga tried to wet me up
Shot up my truck in east atlanta
Want to set me up because I tricked this nikka in Savannah
They put some money on my head, I had to move to Alabama

In the words of eldorado red..."wish it was all Rap...but this is all FACT" :manny:
