I don't particularly see myself as handsome but I dress nice, workout, and am #glowgang. But yes if you are competition to a man's alphaness you will receive static.
There are enough self conscious brehs out there you don't need to be the president of handsome gang to make em feel a way
If a jealous Breh says something to me I calmly tell him I don't give a fukk about him or his girl & keep it moving. I don't feel pride or ego. I feel we should go out separate ways.
Only from "friends" and it's the usual stuff... Bring up something embarrassing from your past, like when I laughed at this girl that got knocked in the head with a basketball, so she decided to slap the shyt outta me.
None really. I got my rep from being a good person & willing to help. People look up to me. When I get upset I guess my whole body changes.

Its sad though. We arent reinforcing self esteem enough in our society.
Dudes hating on other dudes because of looks is exactly how a woman would behave.

OP sounds like a woman. This is exactly the kind of thing I hear women complain about all the time.
I have never encountered direct outbursts of jelously.
Just super passive aggressive bytch made behavior
Quick example. I'm at McDonald's or something looking out the window thinking about whatever. Dude & his girl sitting by the window so he thinks I'm looking at his girl. He came up. Told him I wasn't looking at his girl, stop sitting by the window & nothing needs to start unless he wants to start it. I had weapons on me, don't know if he did too. He was like cool, sat back down & ate his food. I looked back out the window. That's if they say something directly but usually these types don't have the self esteem (as @BaggerofTea said) to be so confident in expressing their feelings.
Usually it's passive aggressive shyt or just looking at you a little funny or stuff like this
Where you can clearly see why they acting like this but if you were to say, "You feel threatened by me?" they'd deny it and act like you're making it up.
