When I moved to Tampa in 96, was the first time I heard slowed down Rap. DJ Rock it Rod in Tampa was doing this... not sure if he was influenced by DJ Screw and Texas (probably). Miami and SFL sped their shyt up. Never tried lean tho

tell the truth june 27th is one of them tapes ..that was a dub...that got passed around...screw had the original..streets wanted it so he put more out..

yung never get his credit..he comes from the school of fat pat..yung and hawk when he was alive..will tell u ..pat heard about yung ...they met up at screw house..and jus went flow for flow for 3hrs..n yung ate pat..

said everytime he ran into pat wasnt no what it do mayne or none of that shyt..pat would jus start rappin on sight..said no matter if they was in the bathroom..the mall..grocery store or gas station..

yung said whenever he saw the link basket..he had to be on his shyt..
