My only thing is the definition of "single parent" is to blurred. A single Parent imo is someone not getting any help. Just cuz the other Parent doesn't live in the house doesn't make you a single parent imo

My mom raised my older brothers with little to no help. One of my brother's has never met his father and doesnt want to.
My dad has custody of my two younger brothers. Their mom is always broke and has no ambition. She sees them at holidays mainly and sometimes during the summer. He drives them from VA to NJ to see their mom and back since she still has no car and can't even pay to put them on a bus.
So yeah, I'm not mistaken. Both my parents are single parents.
