Breh this is my second time at hood.2005-2008 and 2012-now what was going on when you were here.
They told me the only people who join the army are people who failed everywhere else in life.
Word? Because everywhere I look when I get to my unit I see successful ass people. Not perfect people. Not angels and nikkas above the law...... Successful. With various stories of how and why they joined.
That's what I like.

Nothing was going on there while i was in the military.
I was even in killeen hs rotc for a year before coming back up north.
I'm not gonna even diss the area, i learned a lot down there - about how young chicks and racist cac, love nikkas in the military. .

i knew several people who were successful joining. i knew someone who had a degree who just wanted too join cuz he like they way the ran things
im not gonna sit here and lie bout the benefits not being good or a factor but it was but it was not a major factor.
i knew all bout the military before i joined my father was in and did 20+yrs before retiring and i knew the ropes
i joined cuz he inspired me too join he was a hard worker and really loved his job
i wanted too use the military as a stepping stone and join too help people while doing a job that i loved which i am grateful for.
did i get deployed no i didn't and that wasn't by choice i volunteered twice but got denied
cuz they said i was too valuable and needed too stay and help with all the patients and other high end duties since i had so many responsibilities and also working with the post commander was one of the

If you can run you can be in the military IMO. I just dislike hanging around Joe-military muthafukkas. Unless you are REAL special forces (not a Buds drop or some random bullshyt) then you really ain't shyt to me. The military SHOULD be a stepping stone for brothas who ain't never really had shyt, but there's a lot of crabs in this barrel
i have no idea what i did with my DD214s after i moved. i had about 10 copies in one of those cheap ass blue government folders. I still have my CAC tho. shyts been expired for about a year and ahalf. think i can still use it?
