I can tell you weren't recruited out of high school. shyt was fun as fukk. You sound like a loser. This is about doing what it takes to win. One great recruit can change the trajectory of an entire program. See Tebow and harvin @ Florida VY @ Texas. Furthermore, that student who excels academically is begged by top schools to attend. The cat that scores a perfect on his sat will have schools beating his door down to attend. What's the difference? If you have a high level of skill, you'll be pursued.
