Crazy how they released that 4th string QB and then was like "well he didn't talk much but each person handles it differently"

My wife hopped up like :dahellwhat:...Da fukk wrong with this team:dahellwhat:...why they even get a 4th string quarterback anyway:dahellwhat:...Don't let him play barely give him any reps in practice then they get an attitude when he get an attitude :dahellwhat:...he was an Ivy League kid to:dahellwhat:...could have been snorting coke out a secretary ass wolf of wall street style but now he just another random unemployed athlete :dahellwhat:...he was pretty dumb to even come in as a 4th string QB to start with :dahellwhat:

I'll agree that coach Smith does seem a lil' on the soft side. He needs to talk to them the way that special teams coach does.

That one defensive player had the :merchant: :sadcam: look when the coach told him he might be getting cut in the film room last night.

Average if anything

Truth is very few GMs out there are "very good" or "great" when it comes to drafting. Even the pats who are regarded as the premier FO in the league have had a busts
pats were never considered good drafters actually. bellis philosophy of always trading down his picks for sake of picks and then drafting bums with those picks is actually quite well documented

He drafts well in late rounds. Most GMs can do decent in round one. It's round 3 through 7 that separates great GMs from decent GMs

It really starts from the top and this dude Mike Smith seems like a really good dude, but he seems like a bummy ass head coach. As a Cowboys fan the only thing I keep thinking about is the days when we had Dave Campo as our head football coach. Soft ass rah rah type dude who tried to be harder than he really was.

Smith's motivational speeches on this show are wack as fukk. You keep hearing him in every episode talmbout how the Falcons need to "be the toughest team in the NFL" and shed their label as soft but he don't even sound convincing when he's saying that shyt. Just saying that shyt in a team meeting isn't gonna make them more physical. On one hand he's asking them to be tougher, but then on the other hand you have one of their veteran "leaders" in Roddy White telling defenders not to hit Devonta Freeman too hard in practice? :beli:

Dudes like Bryan Cox and the special teams coach are trying hard to instill some attitude but teams take on the personality of their head coach, and if you aren't gonna be an elite X's and O's guy, which Smith isn't, you need to be able to propel your team with your words. Dude is just a soft coach and it trickles down to these soft ass players like this Hageman dude. This nikka is bytch made as all fukk. He the type dude that will show out his contract year but be garbage before and after that.

This team is in the worst possible situation right now. They're good, but not good enough to contend for anything. They might go 9-7, 10-6 and sneak into the playoffs and get bounced out in the wild card. That's their best bet :yeshrug:

breh, EYE was ready to put some pads on after that meeting the special teams coach had with the team... :whew:
