I'm guessing she paid the daycare people because they're strict on their shyt. As far as she knew her apartment was fine to move into. Its happened to people I know before. Stupid stuff like fumes from fumigation and changing locks but they still had their old place of family members.

I don't know how you move into a new city with no real money but I'm not a idiot so... If you get yourself in a situation where you have to barter your ass you probably mishandled something somewhere up the line.
