It is also nothing to be ashamed of. The point is, playing games is a form of entertainment like any other. You can participate in it or not, but your need to try to shame people for enjoying a media that is broadly popular exposes something about you. That need to shame others for their legal entertainment seems quite a bit feminine, since most of the complaints I see about it is from women who feel threatened by the attention the gaming system receives. The smarter ones join in or see it for what it is, a harmless diversion.
If you were smart, you would invest in the industry. I did, making it a part of my investment portfolio.

shyt is way too expensive to just be a kids hobby. i never got to play 90% of the games i wanted to growing up. if it didn't come with the console or my friend didn't bring it over, i was out of luck. now i'm grown and finally make enough money to play any game i want and suddenly its you too old for that breh?

There is no shame in playing video games (or making them).
What is the difference between "Playing a video game" on your TV, or watching other people play sports on your TV?
I can almost guarantee that most people have some type of game on their mobile phones.
Even my Mother-in-law a 74 YEAR Old Black Woman, plays games on her cellphone.
What about VR, and virtual tours? The "Metaverse"? Augmented Realty? Virtual surgery? Flight simulators? etc...
All of the above are "Video Games".
World Militaries guiding drones, ballistics etc.. "Virtually", are essentially "Playing Video Games".
The same chicks complaining about dudes playing Video games, will then binge-watch scripted "Realty TV" for hours and hours at a time
