I think being a hardcore gamer after age 25 is ludicrous unless your already incredibly rich with tons of free time or deal with games for a living and make money off if it, like a pro gamer, journalist, youtube personality.

I think most people with the switch just get it for the Nintendo exclusives you can pick up and play socially with other people at a party or to play mario and zelda games

If I spent multiple hours a day sitting in front of a game I would feel like a total loser who hasn't accomplished much that day

and i'm not saying a couple hours a week are bad especially if the rest of your life activities are balanced

how do you feel about those that watch TV every night?

how about those that go to a bar every night?

He got a lot of flack for that but it was funny as fukk and makes me wonder if this is part of why Nintendo has focused on portability and motion controls to get out of shape gamers moving again.

They are trying to extend the life span of its gamers so they can continue getting as much money from us as possible until we die.

They make family games so that the whole family will get addicted and splurge money on Nintendo. That's the real tactic behind getting families involved.

It's a small tablet playing Nintendos major first party titles very nicely, and having a steady 3rd party support. And people love the idea of playing indie titles on the go.
