nikka, are you serious? Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson have either been injured or unable to produce enough wins and impact to have a team with ANTHONY fukkING DAVIS on the roster.

nikkas thought AD was legit having his career wasted by playing with those dudes (Eric Gordon shooting a whooping 41 to 42% FG the past two years).

How about you go glance at the stats of a 24 year old Oladipo last year and compare them to Gordon's? Then do the same with Ryan Anderson and Steven Adams while remembering that both of the players on Westbrook's team are FAR better defenders.

Harden's squad isn't far better or even that much better than Westbrook's. Harden has more shooting and spacing but far less defensive ability / playmaking. And let's not get into Kanter (Which if you use his bad defense to discredit him, you got also discredit almost all of Harden's scorers who are poor defenders too) or the like.

They squads is comparably talented

Every publication had OKC higher than the rockets in preseason projections. Now people act like the thunder are full of scrubs :stopitslime:

If harden ain't MVP it's Kawhi.
I would vote Kawhi as the MVP of the League. But take Russy away from his team and they dont make the playoffs :manny:

But, to be fair, the spurs aren't built like that. If Kawhi was lost they'd find some way to post a decent record and at least show up in the playoffs.

nikkas won't admit but if you would have asked these same dudes last offseason who would they rather have between Adams, Kanter, Oladipo, and Anderson they would all have picked Kanter, Oladipo and Adams. OKC has the #8 defense in the league right now and we know Russ ain't playing a lick of defense and if he showed effort on that end in lieu of some of his triple doubles they'd probably be a top 5 defense.

Also Oladipo's numbers this season are better than Eric Gordon's (they average the same points but Dipo does it shooting 45% while Gordon is 41% and they both have the same 3pt%). Enes Kanter's numbers are better than Ryan Anderson's and Kanter is doing it playing almost 10 less minutes a game.

rockets have more talent :francis:

Ariza- NBA champ/very good defender. good 3 point shooter
Eric Gordon (6th man candidate)
Lou Will (another 6th man candidate)

The best talent Russ plays with is Oladipo and he's so inconsistent.
How do the Rockets have "more" talent

I firmly believe they should give it to Russ just because of the historic season he's having, while pulling his team to the playoffs. We're never gonna see this type of season again, at least not for a looong ass time. If Russ and Harden were having average seasons, then LeBron and Kawhi would be the two MVP choices. But they're having average seasons this year :manny:

We make MVP candidates look bad mane. I'm sure Harden will feast on another team soon.

Nice pieces? :mjlol:

They're having a great year because Harden is orchestrating a great season. No one thought that a team with Ryan Anderson/Nene Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, and Ariza would be a top seeded team.

Oladipo, Kanter, and Adams is easily comparable to Gordon, Ariza, and Anderson.
Gordon himself without injuries as a factor has been better than any of those 3. You ain't even gotta go down the rest of the list. Gordon + Lou Will trade from Houston would probably require OKC shytting their team down the drain

Russ leads the league in scoring and top 3 in assists and and getting 10 boards a game.

He's gotta win even if the rockets have better record
