Dolphins own this thread. 70's powerhouse. 80's contenders, 90's respectable. To falling off a cliff the past 2 and a half decades.

The hurricanes would be up here too if the dolphins fall off wasn't so embarrassing.

Damn this is a hard list man.

I'm going to say Cowboys because they really haven't done shyt since the 90s but get TV time like they are the Yankees, Lakers, Celtics etc.
Then probably the Dolphins since they haven't done shyt for years. The fact Marino only got to one Super Bowl his entire career is crazy.
Raiders I will put last just because despite the terrible run they've been on. They've still been to a Super Bowl more recently than the other two.

But, wow if you would've told me in 1997 that all three of the Franchises above would basically be meaningless the next damn near 30 years of my life I would've thought you were crazy.

I mean falling off from what point?

The point of going from a period of great success to a run of being flabby and sick :flabbynsick:

The three teams in the poll were powerhouses back in the day and later have had decades of futility

The Giants have won 1 playoff game since their last super bowl, 3 winning seasons in their last 13, and gifted their division rival a championship. Easy choice.
Yeah it's easily the Giants. Not sure how they are not on this list.

In the last 14 season the giants have 8 when they couldn't even win 7 games.

Generational run of :trash:

The way I look at it is, which team fell off from the highest peak?

I would concede the Dolphins are probably the least relevant. But they haven’t been part of the NFL …let’s call it “Zeitgeist” in decades.

The Cowboys have been failures for 30 years coming off…probably the last true NFL dynasty. I struggle to see an argument for any other franchise.

A hard fall off indeed :ehh:

I guess it just doesn't seem quite as bad cause they haven't had literal decades of absolute futility like the other three

This is bar for bar the Raiders, minus a playoff win, a SB win, and adding seasons

Raiders easy. They don’t even have a home field advantage anymore since John fisher blocked their efforts to build a new stadium at the coliseum site and decided to move to a tourist trap in the desert on top of always being between bad and mediocre. The dolphins perpetual irrelevance with little to no direction and awful rebranding around 10-12 years ago are a close second though. The cowboys are a punchline but at least they frequently have good regular seasons. If you’re a dolphins or raiders fan, there’s essentially been 0 reason to tune in for any season since 2003 with the exception of 2008 for the dolphins and 2016 for the raiders :francis:
