Do NOT co-sign any credit applications or lease agreements for anybody. Do not put anything in your name for anybody. Doesn't matter how desperate they may seem. They need your name and credit history because theirs is terrible. I spent years with ugly credit because I tried to help too many people. None of them ever stuck to the agreement. The thing about credit reports and scores is that banks have an invested interest in being able to predict the rate of delinquency. Don't let your heart override the decades of research done by the banking and credit industry.



Also, get a dash cam. All my vehicles have them. No matter how obvious it may seem as to who's at-fault, the other party WILL lie, and at that point, you're at the mercy of some random police officer or insurance claims agent who wasn't there. Dash cams are too affordable (~$30 and up) to not have at least one in the front. I prefer front and rear with wifi. Check amazon.
