Weren't Trump supporters bragging a while back because some people were getting a $1,000 dollar bonus? Can't quite remember.

Yeah a couple companies announced "Trump" bonuses. Walmart announced them as they laid off a bunch of workers at the same time :mjlol:

According to CNBC, the United States job market added over 230,000 full-time employees, beating previous expectations that placed job growth at 185,000. The revised data signals a strong start to 2018 with unemployment claims at record lows and wages rising for the first time in decades.

“Job creation was concentrated largely in service-related industries, which contributed 212,000 to the total,” writes CNBC.

I hope all those people who are laid off find new jobs . Sad situation .

Not that I don't revel in Trump stupidity, but the motorcycle industry across the board is dying.

Hardley-Davision is over-priced trash.

Nah, there was a baby boomer bubble. All those empty nesters went out and got their overpriced hogs and pretended to be Marlon Brando for 10 years until the economy collapsed. If you look at sales its a steady climb without that bubble.

retail bankruptcies aren't really Trump related but this manufacturing stuff totally is

lot of factory workers thought they were smarter than their union leads and made their own voting decision

:francis:

Trump's mantra during the election season was "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs." If retail work is drying up then those retail workers should be able to go to some of those jobs that Trump claimed were coming. The fact consumer bankruptcy filings are ticking up is proof positive that the Country is heading into financial trouble.

"The Milwaukee-based company said its net income fell 82% in its fiscal fourth quarter to $8.3 million, compared with a year earlier. Earnings per share were 5 cents, down from 27 cents a year earlier. Revenue was $1.23 billion, up from $1.11 billion."

"but what the dow jones and low unemployment rate!!!"

Ignoring the fact that COL is surpassing wages, GDP has failed to reach been 3% multiple years in a row, or that the unemployment rate does not include discouraged workers/people who are dropped off after 6+ months

Next recession coming before his 1st term is up and will have NO idea how to handle it.

I didn't mean to give the commander in treason a pass

someone posted layoff stats and 80% of those retailers had been circling the drain for legit 3 years before the banks pulled the plugs on em. in store retail is dead forever, been dead forever for most of this decade.

enough shyt to blame Trump for don't need to confuse the message with stuff that's easy to argue against

I understood what you where saying. Retail has been drying up for a while. I was just pointing out that the Conman in Chief was and continues to be full of shyt.
