and around where I live is kind of circled...

:ehh: compton isn't affected either :win:

Basically where most of the hipsters live would be attacked :mjlol:
@Napoleon

Did you click casualties, I can imagine that number is pretty stupid.

:ehh: just tested it where I live and....

:whew:

That's if the epicenter is DTLA

i tested the USSR's largest designed bomb and if i dropped it in the general area of my house the thermal radiation almost reaches the san onofre nuclear plant.
in your test i get some of the air blast and most of the thermal radiation :lupe:

I actually heard about this. But kinda off topic.... Do you think we can harass the energy of the sun in the future? I mean we aren't even a Type-1 civilization as of yet.
When you say harness the power of the sun, im assuming you mean as far as energy production. Ill be honest...im an organic chemist...my nuclear chemistry/physics isnt the best. However, to do what the sun does, fusing hydrogen (hydrogen isotopes) into heavier elements is extremely energy dependent. The Sun does it through the sheer weight of the star and gravity forcing the atoms together, but humans actually use nuclear fission (think atomic bomb) in order to start the fusion process in H-bombs. We havent found a way to achieve fusion without that heavy energy input....that process would be known as cold fusion...which is probably as unachievable right now to humans as a warp drive.

Honestly, how did we figure any of this shyt out as humans? I always sit back and wonder, imagine how smart these physicists and chemists were to figure out all this theoretical shyt, do experiments, prove, do theoretical math....and come up with practical applications for things. Its literally mind boggling and just proves how powerful the imagination is, and how genuinely gifted some people are in this world.

Think about it, breh. You do shyt like that on a MUCH smaller scale on the daily, but you still do it. Like when you first figured out that if you have your phone cord plugged in a certain way, with it rested on a book, at a 45 degree angle, that the charge would work. How the fukk you figure it out? Trial and error. If somethings interesting enough or important enough to you, you'll try and figure it out. These dudes are just like that 24/7 though.

It would be bonkers to go back in time and see like someone try the first working lightbulb. Or sail in the first boat. I bet their reactions were fukking nuts :pachaha:

What would ya'll rather the next post be about:
1. Different forms of radiation given off by a blast
2. Nuclear radiation in general encompassing radiation from atoms, power plants, etc
3. How big a bomb you would need to literally break the Earth in half? :troll:
