so what if they 5 stars....josh selby was the #1 player in the nation in 2010. He in china or something right now

Austin Rivers was the #1 player in the nation in 2011...If it wasn't for his dad he would be out the league right now.

Shabazz Muhammaad was the #1 player in the nation in 2012...I will be shocked if he gets a second NBA contract
I forgot who was taken first in 2013 but Okafor/Towns/Winslow whoever, are almost guaranteed to last longer than Muhammad and fukkin Austin Rivers (can't even say that name with a straight face)

I dunno what the hell Dakaris issue is though. Who is telling him he'll be drafted anywhere worth a fukk? Dude has negative talent.
He hasn't done anything to get drafted in the 1st except for be 7 feet tall. My guess is he's afraid of getting exposed next year and he's gonna try and ride this hype train all the way.

BTW I ain't seen @Sensitive Blake Griffin in here, I hope he didn't commit that after the game Saturday :mjcry:

at best, they'd be archie goodwin. lol.

unless i was a sure-fire lotto pick, i wouldnt even want to go to kentucky.
You'd be makin a mistake if you did.

aint no way in hell I'd be a high rated recruit and play somewhere where I'll average 7 ppg. fukk that shyt.

that aint impressive at all and scouts cant really see what type of player you are.

well they only avg 20mins soooo ofc they not gonna avg 20ppg.

You don't need to avg 20ppg to be a lotty pick. Anthony Davis was 4th in ppg on that team and he went #1

Cal gonna have nobody avg 13ppg and he gonna have 7 players get drafted and 5 go in the first round.

If he would have starting a main 5 then he would have maybe 3 get drafted.

Cal already said publicly he is about changing families lives.

That's cool if you are one of the better players on the team, which Davis was. Im talkin about dudes like the Harrison twins and Booker. They would've been better served goin' to a school with not as much talent. Towns is a given as a top 2 pick.

I just found out last night that Willie Cauley Stein is from Kansas...How did Bill Self let a player of his height leave the state when KU is literally 30-45 mins away from Olathe, KS? @lucky lefty

Bill Self could've offered him a million bucks and he wouldn't of ended up at KU. His AAU program and his advisors didn't care for KU.

so dakari and one of the harrisons are projected as late 2nd rounders.
the other harrison is ranked 80th. my man basically declared for the d-league draft in november.

twins know their time is up at UK.
and dakari is just cashing in on his size while he can.

Man I just dont know about the twins..

I get going pro. Cause if they are juniors next year and its Ulis/Briscoe closing the game then it wouldnt be a good look for them. However, they really dont seem like they're ready.

Truth is they probably would have been drafted higher last year. Its too bad they spent another year in college, didnt win the championship and now gotta hope to be 2nd round picks

yea i think they were moreso running away from the bench, rather than running to the league. we already know next year is Ulis' time to shine. and they got a new guard coming in already signed. i guess its that briscoe guy you mentioned.

Wouldn't shock me if Ben Simmons as crazy as it seems could be a bust. But if you said this about Austin Rivers or Josh Selby 4 years ago people would think you were crazy.

nah.

ben simmons is about to blow.

I dunno what the hell Dakaris issue is though. Who is telling him he'll be drafted anywhere worth a fukk? Dude has negative talent.

same person who told daniel orton to go when he barely did anything

i think these dudes know they dont have bright futures in the nba, so they cash in on their size while they can.

kinda reminds me of jim calhoun advising hasheem thabeet to go pro when he did. and thabeet ends up as the #2 pick.

people like to criticize the players but one thing that is rarely mentioned is that the older you are, the lesser that scouts think of you.

low-key, alot of early entries would prefer to stay in school.

like will barton, who really didnt want to declare when he did and preferred to go back for his senior year at memphis.

How? Kentucky is the biggest stage. All the kids want to go the the NBA. Why do you think these 5 star guys are going to kentucky and not their local school. Kentucky has the best exposure. Kentucky has their own NBA pro day for god sakes :deadmanny:
