First of all JK isn’t writing the show. They’ll have a collection of writers like every other big budgeted tv series. She’ll be the Godfather like George RR Martin was for the first 4 seasons of GOT. Whoever the showrunner is will have to run certain details by her and she’ll probably have a say over casting and certain production details (just like she did with the movies) but she won’t be writing.

Also the Cursed Child play has been a huge success and is still running
