This is great news. I'm not celebrating yet. His lawyers filed for a appeal the same day he was convicted. It's not quite over.
Harvey Weinstein faced protesters too. There were people protesting him at an actors' event he attended, students protested their own classroom because their law professor was helping represent Weinstein and got the professor kicked out. There were various protests at awards shows. They were protesting the courtroom throughout the trial and now they're protesting Spyglass Entertainment's head office.

So what happens when appeal is denied or he loses his appeal? Y'all wasn't saying it wasn't quite over yet when epstein died. Y'all was saying they faked his death and he's somewhere living his best life on a island. Then when they showed his dead body y'all was saying that's wrong why would they show his dead body. I'm not sure who "ya'll" is as I'm only speaking for myself. What I said in my post is based on history and observing how the justice system works for the wealthy in general and in this case white wealthy. I don't comment for the sake of online "wins", "losses" or "points" I'm simply voicing my opinion. If you disagree that's fine but please don't mischaracterize my posts as such.
To answer your first question If he is denied or loses appeal then great. I said in my original post that it was great news he got close to the maximum as I didn't think he would.
