How could anybody possibly be mad about this? Do cacs taking a L really hurt ppl this bad? Ppl went from nothings gonna happen to him because he's white rich and powerful they're gonna find him not guilty, then when he got found guilty they started saying "Him being found guilty don't mean nothing it's all about the sentencing that really matters", now that he got sentenced to 23 years in prison ppl are mad losing their minds talking about appeals now. What difference does it make if he gets 23 years only for the sentence to be appealed? No way does 23 years stand in appellate court.

Whole thing seems like a con to show that they're not soft on "rich white men". Time will tell.

Please explain why you think this is the case. First it isn’t just the sentence that will be appealed, its the whole trial. And unless reversible error was committed, the trial will stand. About 10% of appeals are successful. As far as the sentence, he can always request to have it modified. But in this MeToo era, compounded by the case being high profile, I can’t picture a judge reducing his sentence. He’s done.

Like there's not white men going back years and years that have gone untouched. It's not about the crime per se (as we all know it's wrong to exploit sexual dominance or sexual molestation of underage victims and criminal charges should apply), it's about the inherent racism within the system where it takes 25 years for the "Harvey Weinstein's" of the world to even get brought up on charges. Like there aren't black men under the jail, for touching white women. They even tried to persecute Kobe in his death, for charges that were dismissed. This is another case of the PTB setting out their sacrificial lamb of symbolism. How about Emmit Till's accuser - she admitted to her part in the plot of false accusations. But black people are supposed to "shut up" and be content over this one situation.
