Has a game ever been as spoiled as bad in pre-release as Lightning Returns?

Fang and Vanille are back alive and well somehow. Caius and Yuel are back as well. We know Lightning fights against Snow and Noel. Lastly Serah who died in the last game has been seen in promotional pre-release material so obviously she's back some how.

i know Square wants to hype this game up but it seems like they leaked damn near half the plot already.

I'm done with JRPGs, the west clearly got that genre on lock now.

I'd be more concerned about the resurrection of characters instead of the spoilers. Stories that do that to many characters unless there's a good reason (which is fukkin' rare) goes to the shyts.

its a different style of game. i like Western RPGs for different reasons than JRPGs. to me its not an either or choice.

Fair enough. But SE has really gone soft lately with FF and quite honestly the franchise is just too kiddy. There's no dark tone in any game since 10 and even that's a stretch.
