Magnolia was the movie that inspired me to start screenwriting, it was just the idea of being able to put something like that onto the screen. Let it slip after a while but thinking of that movie I feel I should pick it up again.

Bellflower was a movie that hit so close to home I remember sitting in my chair for fifteen minutes after the end credits afraid of the things I might do if I were to get up.

The Rocky movies made me want to be in shape, don't have the resources to do so though :yeshrug:

The movie where Adam Sander plays a bum with Don Chele motivates me, despite Adam's circumstances in life he lived life and had fun with no fukks given :myman:

Apocalypse Now, among other things, made me think more about morality and anything but self-interest being bullshyt forced upon you as a form of control when I was younger. It motivated for a while to become more focused on personal success.

I don't know about inspired, but I remember watching Fight Club when I was younger and always remembering the quote "The things you own end up owning you"

It's just reminds me that buying all the shyt in the world won't necessarily make you happier. You got live and do things that take you out of your comfort zone and that get your adrenaline pumping.

The movie itself got a lil corny at the end but the message stuck with me

Damn...
I love me a theatrical boost to my psyche
I'm doing not only inspirational movies,
but movies that are also nostalgic to me and put a smile on my face every-time I watch them

I have 30mins before I bounce from work
I'll waste it doing this

My Big 10 & Why

Man, this is the go to when you feel like your at the bottom of the bottom. Just keep fighting and get up. Have a purpose, a dream and a destination. Work your ass of and let no one tell you that you wont make it

I don't consider myself an underdog by any means. But this shyt is the go to movie when your in over your head or your trying to accomplish the impossible. Hard work does pay off in one way or another.

Taught me that life has its good times and bad. That life possess obstacles that are not directly related to your immediate path that can detour you. You gotta get over those things and get back into the fight. Helped me get over my best friends death growing up. This was my favorite movie and I was like Maverick and he like Goose. Had to get back into the fight....

This is my JR High flick. The adventures we used to go on growing up. The shenanigans we got into. I feel sorry for kids nowadays who lack this sense of adventure with there friends. But this taught me about friendship. To enjoy the moments because the future isn't scripted. Don't take your relationships for granted with people. Also the Nostalgic effect.

This is one of my all-time faves. Reminds me of myself in high school. Amazing test scores, but just did what I had to do to get by. Until someone noticed. This inspired me to not judge anyone by the cover and to look deeper into people because there's a lot that's not presented. It inspired me to reach my full potential.

This shyt right here takes me to High School. I had 2 best friends, we was always clowning on each other, having random female competitions. This right here expressed the journey of life and to move on. To not let good things pass you by. And...also to enjoy the moments with your boys.

This is my football series without it being about football. 1, coming from a military family, this touched me more. 2, the way I view things, always being the captain growing up on all the teams I've been a part of. This shyt teaches you about honor, war, friendship, the fight, history and leadership. It inspired me cause it was one of the movies that taught me how shytty war is. It also represented my years of football and the sweat and blood I shared with my brothers. The greatest war flick of all-time

This shyt taught me the highs and lows of relationships and how fuked up they are. But the major thing it inspired me to do was to quit my previous job and never take a job where I'm not happy with what I'm doing. You only live once. Don't live that life unhappy.

My sports movie growing up. This reminds me of so much stuff playing sports as a kid. It taught me a lot too. While there are always favorites to win. The underdog can too. Teamwork, hard work and dedication. I've been on a few teams(baseball, football, basketball) growing up that wasn't the most talented, but we won due to team work. This was our go to flick

Hard work, dedication and a vision. That's all you need to defeat obstacles. This behind Pursuit of Happiness is my go to during trying times. Everyone can use a lil inspiration and this movie does it
