alex smith is an average/slightly above average qb but he gets way too much shyt for playing it safe than other error-prone qbs of the same caliber who play it less safe and turn the ball over a lot more, for turning the ball over. Nothing about him is above average besides his athleticism. He is average at best and I'd even say below average.

Way too much props for doing nothing. He holds back that offense and yet never in jeopardy of losing his job cuz he's Caucasian.
