I was legit shocked when I read this and had to look it up

:dahell:

9x all star, 4x silver slugger, World Series champ, and considered one of the fiercest hitters of all time, doesn't make it in...
Gee I wonder why :mjpls:
:gucci:

You two been in a coma? BALCO? Mitchell Report? I don't even follow baseball like that and know anyone caught up in those things during that time isn't getting in.

I would say the 2004 Pistons, even though them winning that championship is pretty much guaranteeing either Ben Wallace gets in, or Chauncey (alongside that ESPN push he'll inevitably get for that case) will end up in there.

04 pistons...

Ben the only guy with a chance to make it and I don't know if 4 DPOY and a ring is enough to get him in with such putrid offensive numbers

I mean. Rasheed who was a better player than both and probably had a greater career was on that team also. I’m sure sheed will touch the HOF

Sheed had a good run, but he’s not a hall of fame player. He made 3-4 all star teams, once or twice as an injury replacement, no all nba teams, and no all defensive teams. He was one of the worst rebounders for players his height or taller ever too, averaging under 10 rebounds per 48 minutes. He had the talent to be one, but his play wasn’t really at that level. I’d be shocked if he made it in.

No he didn’t. Billups made 5 all star teams, 3 all nba teams with one being a second team nomination, and a finals MVP. Big Ben made 4 all star teams, 5 all nba teams with 3 second team, led the league in blocks once, led the league in rebounding twice, made 6 straight all defensive teams with the first 5 being first team, and won 4 defensive player of the year awards. Both of them are more decorated than sheed was.

What are you talking about?

He’s an allstar catcher with gold gloves, and a World Series MVP dummy, with 1000 hits already at 28. He only needs 1000 more.
Look at Salvy's numbers compared to Buster Posey and it isn't even close. Now compare him to Rodriguez, Piazza, Bench, etc. He has no shot at making the Hall at his current rate.

Them two playoff runs Eli had will get him in the HOF. And I’m not talking about the Super Bowls. Are y’all forgetting the fact they was wild cards going into them playoffs? Breh balled out throughout them two runs.
