Shaq was old in Boston. Might as well have included Bron if you were gonna include nikkas he played with when he was well past his prime. GP and Malone were past their primes. Even with that at playing with Kobe, Wade, Penny in the same career.

Kobe has been fortunate there is no denying that. He has been an all-time great as well. Both of those things can be true. It shouldn't be held against him that he's been in a great situation for almost his entire career. However it is kinda silly to reference his ring count when comparing him to other players when clearly nobody (except Shaq) has been anywhere near as fortunate as him in terms of teammates. That's why I would take Tim over both of them nikkas.

Toine was an all-star the year before in in 98 as well. The league had been garbage. I guess it was only an issue because it wasn't Mike or Kobe/Shaq reigning supreme over that garbage.
