Dude a billionaire now but it's sad how much the GOAT producer fell the fukk off musically

Forget his beats, I used to fukk with Dre's flow during chronic and 2001 era, then he tried to get fancy with it and now is trash on the mic

Got sonned in 91 by Ice Cube in arguably the greatest diss song in the history of muisc

Got sonned in 93 by Eazy E on Real Muthaphuckkin Gs (The diss song was only 2 slots away from being a top 40 hit, and it was aimed almost entirely at Dre )

Imagine a superstar rock star is on top of the world, the fame and drugs are going to his head. He fires his world-class best-kept secret songwriter in favor of writing his own material, "he doesn't need anybody anymore"

The music comes out and it starts to suck

Dr. Dre turned his back on the processes and methodology that made him what he is, he saw the way colleges were beginning to study the lyrics of Tupac and he didn't want to recreate music anymore - he wanted to "MAKE" music, he began to study music theory, even went as far as to take some lessons and began to aspire for his music to go down in history and be talked about someday in the future. The only thing is it's rather lackluster . . he's not the only person that understands music theory. What Dr. Dre shines at is picking a record to recreate, this comes from a lifetime of listening to music and having influence, music that doesn't have influence is 9 times out of 10 created in vanity. Then you couple that with a business built off marketing his name to headphones the way Jordan's name is marketed for sneakers and you have the recipe for what you see today

:what:

He clearly fukkin says "When they used to do daaaance music"

GO back and listen again old timer

Even then it's the same fukkin thing

. . no it's not the same thing, you're correction in my paraphrased iteration of his quote is trivial, however I corrected you because your misinterpretation completely changes the meaning of the statement.

Even in your post you clearly show Tupac dancing at the height of his fame in '96, so there's no switch-up . . if you can't get down you're probably a clown.

Wow, you really have no sense . . . in relevance to the statement of someone who WAS something and then BECAME something else . . you posted a picture of someone dancing pre-fame and then right next to it posted a picture of them dancing at the peak of their fame and tried to use this as an example

There's a difference between dancing and making dance music, dance music is it's own sub-genre of music. Congratulations, you're are a special kind of stupid
