Has any rapper's discography aged as bad as Eminem's?

The fact that 5 years ago if you said this, this would be a 100 page thread with em apologists all over the place, vs now this is said commonly and not many would argue it justifies his albums not aging well

Defending em now is damn near like defending ja rule

Not even true.

With time, Ja Rule looks better and better.

His catalog was never stellar to begin with...but MMLP IS a classic, I can't believe people still dispute this :snoop:

i never understood the reasoning behind the production em got. beats is an important part of what makes an album have replay value. but those My Name Is type beats?

SSLP and MMLP are classics...that's where it stops. The other albums range from mediocre to whack.

I decided I didnt fukk with Eminem very early on.. like I was a fan for one year in 5th grade before I realized "fukk there has to be more exciting rap out there then this shyt".

On a sidenote, he is a really, really talented rapper. Id put him in the top 5 objectively

I think his music has aged kind of badly, but I still find myself going back and listening to him often. Sometimes I need that real technical spitting and not just hard hitting beats with nikkas just spewing random shyt.

Stay Wide Awake is probably his best song. He blacked out for the entire thing. I've heard it like a 100 times and I'm still like wow every time.

I know dude is a superspitter, a definite heavyweight in that category.

would have definatley supported him doing a straight up hip hop album, the type of shyt he blatantly grew up on, its like, how could you you be that big and not do what the fukk you want,he could do a true black album, no stupid radio singles, no big diva feature on the hook, no publicity, press up a million copies, drop that shyt online...

I digress...
