Has any tv show maintained consistent quality after season 5?

As far as the people 
at people tuning in every week to complain, we live in an era of highly serialized TV series. Far more than any other era in TV history. Me personally, I have no problem tossing a show in the bushes if it falls off....however most people can't do that. They want to see how the story turns out, because in some cases they've invested years into watching it.

Yeah even the president of WB admitted it was a mistake in hindsight.
Although it's easy to say that now because like you said the 5 season rule holds true. If it didn't get cancelled we could be sitting here talking about how it fell off in season 6, 7, or 8.

Angel got fcuked by the same "love triangle/true love/I am only doing this for the love of my BS" that MOST shows get fcuked with...That lazy writing...
Angel became a day time soap opera about supernatural beings...Take away the supernatural stuff, and there is no significant difference between Angel and Days Of Our Lives, Young and The Restless and etc...
I hope the writers of Supernatural keep Dean and Sam FAR AWAY from that "one and only true love" BS...

The Sopranos. IDGAF what any you nikkas say. The greatness of the characters made the show watchable even if the plots were kind of slow paced
