has anybody done this windows version 2004 update

I did it and it bricked my laptop. granted it was basic 400 dollar laptop. I had to buy a new one and have to do the same damn update. before I do it again, does this update actually work at all? these windows updates are fukking bipolar, I don't get it.

2004 update is dangerous. I installed it on one of my customers computer, printers stopped working and windows explorer would crash, i had to roll back

geez. I'm just gonna uninstall it before restarting the only reason I feel like doing the update this time is because I literally got this computer today and there's nothing on it I need and the specs are better than my last. But I guess I need to wait until windows/MS get their shyt together with these updates.

If it wasnt for available software and compatibility issues, id ditch windows forever n run nothin but Linux distros n MacOS

I had it but found myself having to defrag my HDD too much so I updated to 20H2. Other than that everything was cool.

Could you have not format the drive, and reinstall windows.
One of their updates screwed up my work laptop though

I had graphics output issues after doing it. Sometimes pc would start up or come out of sleep mode with no video output.
