Probably the only south american country I don't find appealing. Women are wack, I knew one fine one from work whom I thought was egyptian but her ass was flat and square. She had the audacity to wear them spandex pants too (dont know what theyre called).

Locals were pretty cool, but they know Americans when they see one so if they hurtin' they'll hit a lick :demonic:
There was a group a chicks begging outside the grocery store, the one chick walk up to me with her cup and then pulled it back and said she doesn't want money, she wants diapers for her baby and she tried to push me back in store. It was both funny and odd, feeling this random chick try and force me back. I was like damn I could buy the diapers but there's no way I'm walking back into this store with this chick. I just gave her all my change and left.

I spent a week and a half there. I did the Inca trail to Machu Pichu which was a real dope experience. Most of my time was in Cusco getting four days to get acclimatized before I hit the trail. Most people who go to travel to Cusco are hikers who stay at hostels which is what I did since I went solo. It was a good way to meet people. The food was real good. If you go, you gotta get lomo saldado with baby alpaca meat. I know it sounds fukked up but it was real good. I also had guinea pig which was their native dish. Luckily the dish that I got didn't have the head which is nasty to look at. I felt like the guinea pig tasted like fried fish overall but I had it fried some have it roasted.

Their main drink is called a pico sour, which is pretty good but much better when they add egg white to it so that it gets a foamy taste. The nightlife in cusco is way better than I would have expected. At La Plaza de Armas, which is the main square there, you'll find a lot of people advertising their lounges and bars offering free drink deals. Most of the hot chicks I remember seemed to be from other countries but that's also partly due to the fact that most people partying in that area are tourists. Mama Africa was one of the most popular spots out there to party.

I spent one full day in aguas calientes which is the city where Machu Pichu is located. Real nice looking city with a lot of good restaurants and bars. Real small though its basically one 30 minute loop of a town. Definitely try to hit up the hot springs there if you decide to go.

As far the indigenous people there, in Cusco I took a city tour where we were given a show which talked about some of the Inca customs and rituals. Learned a lot about Inca history on the trail as well. As I traveled to the coutryside I was surprised to meet people who didn't speak spanish because they still spoke the indigenous language. I heard a dope story about how when the Spaniards came and tried to conquer the Inca capital which was Cusco at the time, several of the Inca's decided to move further up on the hills away from the valley where the main town square was so they could maintain their language and religion.

Overall, depending on how your trying to kick it, it could be a real dope spiritual experience. If you do go to Cusco, be prepared to be stopped constantly with locals trying to sell you shyt at the main square La Plaza de Armas. That was the most annoying part of the trip.

Spent 6 weeks there.
Lima, Cusco, Huaraz, Arequipa, and Mancora.

The only place I wouldn't recommend from my list is Arequipa, did jack shyt there, don't know why I went. Mancora is like their cancun but way more compact.

The food is as advertised, they are sometimes known to give overexaggerated portions too.

I went to Machu Pichu, and the voyage there from Cusco is just as exhilarating assuming you don't take the expedited route.

Didn't personally run into the natives too much.

People are friendly, but imo the women aren't as fine as the other s.a. countries

Nightlife is definetly a fun night out in the big cities especially Lima.

Cusco is in my top 3 cities I've ever visited, if you're going to Peru, you have to go there.
