Sometimes if you dont use your account regularly, your credit limit will be reduced
They usually close inactive accounts with large credit lines
I had a 6700$ card with amazon. I owed like 35$. I thought I paid it. But obviously didn’t. For a whole month it went without being paid. I didn’t get anything saying past due. Long story short. My shyt went from 6700 to 700 without no warning

that actually happened to me before. I had a store card that had 3000 limit and I owed $38 on it and something happened with my bank account, I think I had my account number changed or something, and I had gotten fukked up and couldnt walk, was in the bed mostly for months and by the time I checked the account it was like 3 months later and saw that the payment had been returned, so not only did I get negative mark on my credit for being 60-90 late but the account was closed. I was pissed. I had been using that account regularly for about 4 years and charged thousands on it.
on another note, despite everything going on, none of my accounts or no one in my household have had any adverse action. part of this is because my charge accounts I got caught up before shyt got hectic. the revolving accounts I make large payments on anyway to avoid a lot of interest. outside of the account I mentioned above I havent been late on anything in probably 6 years.

Was he actively using the card? If not than yes the company will cut it and also his credit score might take a hit as a result
