ever have a moment in life where you cut mostly everyone off to get your shyt together? Been having to ignore friends and women completely as of late because I’m not living to my full potential.

Update-1/25/18: Interesting thing about this is people’s reactions to your newfound inaccessibility. This one chick who I eventually realized only kept me around for attention hit me up New Years with a generic happy new year text after months of not speaking. Then she hit me up again yesterday mad as hell that I had the audacity to ignore her. Old me would’ve entertained it trying to finesse it into finally making a porno with her, but now i couldn’t care less.

Just a short time by yourself can open your eyes to how not-on-your-level some folks are. Can’t wait to see how much further I can evolve the deeper I go into the Zone.

Always follow your instincts. Your friends mean well, but you have different people in your time at different eras - so if you have to choose between your friends and the person you want to be.

Definitely, and I remember it as one of the most productive times in my life. I also had a lot better hit rate with women once I got myself established and got my life/finances together. Don't feel bad, you don't need to have a girlfriend and hang out all the time. As long as you aren't being negative on some MGTOW shyt, which is bad.

Just make sure you set a schedule and plan for self improvement. If you just chill watching TV/porn or smoke weed all day you are wasting your time. Not that you can't relax a lot, just do other stuff. What I did that really helped me in my down period was:

1. Got a membership at the YMCA and worked out at least 3 mornings per week. You will be surprised how much better you feel and how much more positive you can be when you work out regularly.

2. Worked on paying down student loans and credit cards by paying way over the minimum. I had no life so I had the little bit of extra money . I also started my savings of 10% of every check (this was hard) which I put in a local Black bank.

3. Traveled. I had an airlines points card which helped but I went to Asia and later Europe once. If you travel off season and stay at cheap (but decent) places this is cheaper than you might think.

4. Hung around less with friends who were always getting into dumb shyt

I did this for about 18 months in my early 20s. Don't listen to people claiming you have to plow through chicks every weekend or you are a simp. You can still go on dates but don't stress it. When you get things together better chicks tend to come along anyway.

considering i had moved to a totally new city a few years ago, it was essentially like i did that. then, one summer, i really isolated myself and took care of my health. pretty much only went to a few places and stayed at home.
