I know it's a stupid counter productive strategy that is bound to backfire but how liberating would it be
to step away from the canned responses and just answer every question honestly

Interviewer: why do you want to work for this company:smugbiden:

Because I'm broke and have bills to pay:mjtf:

interviewer: :picard: so what are your weaknesses if you have any

I hate team meetings/briefing, find paperwork and report writing boring and love thick hoes and pawgs:takedat:

Interviewer: :gucci::snoop:ok thanks for coming, we will get back to you

Everyone should try it atleast once as part of their bucketlist:pachaha:

Once, only because the woman interview me was honest too. After looking over my resume, she could see that I wasn’t the type of person who wants a desk job.

and this was back in college. I’m almost a little thankful in a way. Who knows what my life would have been like if I had taken that job versus pursuing skills

Yes I did.

Got a call back for a union position at a port refinery. Great job great benefits. $30+ to sit on your ass all day plus OT shift work. Hard as hell to get in there and they owned other companies world wide.

passed all the computer tests then went in for person to person interview.

sit in a conference room being interviewed by 3 people.

Interview is going well and I got too comfortable.

interviewer “ok so if you saw that a coworker was stealing from the company, how would you handle that????”

me “I wouldn’t say shyt that’s not any of my business” yes I cursed too.
all 3 interviewers facial reaction :ohhh::francis::ufdup:

The one breh in there caught my eye and I saw it in his soul :dahell::mindblown::snoop:

I tried to nikkasplain :whoa:

“what I meant was that I wouldn’t be involved” “however if he was doing it so blatant that I saw he’s indirectly involving me so I’d have to approach him on that”

but it was too late, everyone in there knew I wasn’t getting the job including me.

My name went on a do not hire list I don’t even get sent job postings no more.
:damn:

Your response (instead of nikkasplaining) should have been "I thought honesty was one of the qualities
every company looks for in their potential employees":sas1: "I guess not":to:

I interviewed with Quick-trip and the interviewer asked me how I felt cleaning bathrooms. I told him that I understand that it's part of the job but I would do everything I could to avoid doing it. I got the call to attend the new hire orientation a week later :ehh:

I went to it, got the uniform, but returned it after I saw that they wanted me to work the graveyard shift knowing I had a class at 9am:hubie:

Got my first decent paying gig being straight forward. I worked for a company for about a year and was young. They had a lead/supervisor position open up.

Why should we pick you out of all the other qualified candidates?

This was after I was told I wasn't gonna get it by other managers and shyt so I was like :yeshrug:

I said something like "all these other people are starting families and have families (kids and wife) and while that's admirable, I'm here to work. I show up on time, I do my job, I help out (other departments, overtime), I'm knowledgeable, approachable, I'm here to work, I'm not here to schedule my job around vacations, or have to call in sick cause of kids, if you want someone who's going to show up to work, and put everything they have into the job vs having to balance a hefty life/work schedule, I'm the guy. If you're looking for someone more in tune to the social family aspect that's going to be in sync with the other managers and such in terms of family and outside endeavors, I'm not at that stage and I'm not going to be a good fit.

They looked at me like :ehh:.

Got the offer the next day.
