They use him as their representative in the hip hop scene and their racist views make them assert that he is better because he is white.

Eminem fans always the first to bring the cism in hip-hop conversations. hands down, he has the WORST fans ever...

Kind of like when people say that someone like Apathy, RA the Rugged Man, Brother Ali, Slug is better than X black rapper cause they're white (except slug, he's Native American/Black/White).

Like, that's what turns me off to Em's music...his fans. So goddamn corny. Obviously just neophytes to this rap game. Even people like me who used to fukk with dude back in the day realizes he's overatted...and the fact that's he's 40+ and still making music for pissed off white 14 year olds that drink Monster Energy drink, wear DC Shoes, and still laugh at gay jokes is pathetic.

I know a lot of it is young kids and white kids who don't know any better but it's literally fukking annoying to see Eminem put up on a pedestal as if hes the only good rapper ever. Like some barometer in which every other artist who has a video up on YouTube has to be compared against.

Also, he has no classics (SSLP is arguable, and Infinite...no one even knows that one) and his music has very little replay value.

Dude's a clown nowadays. 40 something rapping about punching Lana Del Ray in the face. Making music with Rihanna and Skyler Grey that sounds like it should be played in every mall in America. Something Em in the past would never do.

But then again, what can you expect from a guy who's afraid to beef/battle with REAL rappers and beef's with people like Carson Daly, Moby, N'Sync, Britney Spears, and whatever pop artists is hot?

He had some cool shock value lines ("Gianni Versace...OOOPS! Somebody Shot me...") but that's it.

He has made 2 very great albums, which I own and really really like. But after the Eminem Show it just went downhill.
I find it disgusting how overrated he is, as I said, yes he made classics, but for the last 13 years, which is a very long time, 80% of his output has been trash. Any other artists career would have been long gone, but he still sells millions with his bad albums.
People bashing Kanye for 1 bad album, and still praise Em to heaven when he made an album about American Football players fukking each other in the ass... and made other just really mediocre albums... smh

They don't ever go digging in the crates. They just see that he was a huge mainstream success and that's enough, so essentially they're just spoon fed listeners, they ain't really about this culture..
