I'd like to know this too because garbage collectors don't make shyt here in Louisiana.

Public sanitation in NY is like a 100k+ job at top pay which takes approx 5 years to get to.
Think it’s one of the competitive city jobs to get in nyc. When the civil test cost comes out it’s like 100k NYers who pay $20 to take the test in hopes of gaining that employment.

Word. Then you factor in how strong the union is... I remember when transit was threatening to go on strike or walk off, it was like but then when sanitation started talking that noise, it was like

I have seen women garbage collectors, taxi, bus drivers, female pilot, female barber, female doctors, dentists

they're not aliens breh
