has anyone ever written to a rapper in prison?

so i was thinking about writing a letter to the rapper Big Lurch in prison.

is there a proper way to do it? obviously anything i mail is gonna be read/searched. im not really sure what to talk about with them.

would it be bad taste (lol) to ask about his crime? i genuinely believe he was set up.

anyways, i was thinking of just asking him how he's passing his time, what his days are like, etc.

only thing giving me pause is that i have to put my actual address on the envelope... although i do believe he's innocent, an alleged murderous cannibal having my address is something i'm not entirely comfortable with.

should i do it?
