That 1st track was bangin. I didn't hear it until like, 2019. And I always mixed Daniel Caesar with other artists. I've become absolutely HORRIBLE with keeping up with content, post-2010. I'm a millennial, but I won't be able to talk to the future youngsters or my little nephews about iconic 2010 albums and songs and
where I was when such and such 1sr dropped xyz. I spent most of the 2010's being behind the ball, content-wise. I used to listen to albums ALL THE TIME as a teen in the 00's. 2010's hit, and I got lazy when it comes to consuming music, because of the content overload.
That's why when I hear some of these artist incredibly dope music(IE Thundercat in that other thread) I'm initially like
But I never keep up with the artists.
I still haven't heard TPAB, DAMN, Dirty Spirte 1 or 2, and host of other decade defining hip hop and RnB albums. It's embarrassing. Am I even a millennial?
I feel like I spent the whole decade "missing out" on things. Like I went from age 18(late00's) and skipped ahead and went straight to age 30.
