Being an extra in movies? What was it like? Did they pay? I signed up to a talent website and just got a text saying they want\need extras.

but yea, to answer your question. when they were filming "panther" out in oakland like 20 years ago my whole family was extras in that movie they made my dad bring his own dashiki and they paid him $100 (he had a line). my grandma did not have a speaking line, she got $50.
