Fifteen dollars!? I got a burrito today on my way to work and I paid like 7.50. I don't know what size they making their burritos over there tho.
It's funny u said this. Back in 2007-2011 I used to fukk with chipotle hard. Used to get a bowl or tacos a week. Now it's like ok to me. I dunno why the popularity went down for me.chipotle? nikka, we off that. this ain't 2007 no more

Had it in toronto a week ago , was disapointed. Over priced , small portions and wifi wouldnt work . To me it tasted like taco del mar

I like a few different places just depends on what I'm in the mood for. The obvious ones are La Elegante and El Premio Mayor. They always win the taco truck throwdown at Grizzly Stadium because they make great tacos. I like the spot on Belmont and Van Ness, a little carneceria on shields and fruit, the Cherry Auction has two trucks that I really like, Panchos tacos on Cornelia and Shields is really good too, there's one on Elm and North that I go to a lot and there are a few others I like. Just depends on the mood I'm in. They're all different. We have a lot of good to great taco trucks around here.

I only started fooling with Chipotle a couple years ago, and it was the homie Javale McGee that put me on, LOL I was reading that story about the groupie that he flew out to smash during the summer, and she was salty about the time he went out to get Chipotle and he didn't bring any back for her. So I saw that and remembered that there was one not far from the crib. I had never bothered to try it, so one day me and wifey went over there, and I told her the story of why I was curious about it all of a sudden. She didn't care for it. I like it fine, but I've had better. There's another non-chain burrito spot further down that I've heard is waaaaaay better than Chipotle. Now that I'm thinking about it, I might fool with it today.
Best burrito I ever had was in San Diego. Don't even know the name of it. One of the dudes from our San Diego office took us there after a night of drinking in the Gaslamp or Gaslight, whatever it's called, and it was some hole in the wall spot. Almost had me miss my alarm for the meeting the next morning lol

It's not bad food. I think those who have gotten sick are dealing with idiot employees who don't wash their hands after pooping or peeing. You have hundreds of restaurants but only a handful get sick customers.

To answer OP's question, I've had Chipotle a couple times. It's solid, chips too damn salty, though. And the times I went, the burrito was packed to the max, but that was mostly due to the ungodly amount of rice they gave me.
Personally, I prefer Moe's.
