Scientology is not to be fukked with. They brainwash like crazy. I'd be scared to be associated with them. After watching all these videos, it seems like they are REALLY good at doing their job. Having people leave their family, give up their fortune, become basically slaves, etc. I don't know if many are strong enough to withstand their pressure. They get you with that stupid machine that tests your thetons. You tell them your darkest secrets, supposedly in confidence, and then they say they'll tell everybody about them if you try to leave. That's pretty much why I wanted to do it. I am an atheist, so I wanted to see what kind of tricks they have up their sleeve. Religion in general interests me, especially this freaky ass cult one.
Some of the self-help stuff helped me talk to women better, and with social interaction. I was an anti-social teen looking for a job when I first went in, now I'm a charming a$$hole, they teach you how to not take shyt so personal, handle conflicts etc. It's money-making culture that's the problem, they made us buy pointless books and don't focus on the good stuff. I don't consider myself a thetan or a ghost though lol.
Unfortunately I still get cacs coming to my door asking me if I'm interested in combing back for an auditing session.They're not going to leave me alone.
