I'm stuck with this shyt for the rest of my life. It is terrible. No sex drive, no positive or negative thoughts. I just exist, very little excites me. It's kinda a sad existence. But I guess it's better than being dead :manny:
That really is terrible. I was on anti depression meds for a little for my anxiety. That is exactly how I felt. I literally couldn't even laugh when something was funny. Fortunately for me, I changed up some things in my life, and it is now manageable without meds. Stay strong. Maybe try a lower dose? I know you probably have exhausted all options, but thought I'd try. :(

Yeah, nothing works but the really hard stuff. They got me on Seroquel, Geodon, and Cymbalta just to be "normal." Everything else just makes me terribly depressed or manic. it sucks :to:

You think it was the meds but it was actually @Tree-0-Three that made you smile again. :wow:

I got one of Malachi Yorks books if that means anything.
:patrice: Wonder why my father never pursued getting into NOI\Nuwupu. He was attending meetings in his 20's

Nevertheless I find them extremely interesting, the various mythologies, the parallels, why people join and stay in them, the infamy that they leave on the populace etc.

I'm a Puriest Fundamentalist Mormon, so ppl usually think I'm in a cult.:beli:
But we don't even go to church. Its completely counter to our belief.

We believe exactly what Joseph Smith believed... that if God wants anything of us at all he will tell us himself, with celestial clarity.
We put no faith in books written by man (the bible, book of mormon, quaron, or torrah included), consider all preachers charletons, and do whatever we see fit until told otherwise by God himself.

I actually did join a cult. I did an autoethnography on a very radical Christian group that was accused of being a cult. I infiltrated the group, learned their secrets, and wrote an article about it. shyt was crazy. I knew they were trying to brainwash me, and they almost did. After about 3 months in the cult, I started to feel like maybe they were on to something. I got out quickly after that. They almost had me though.

shyt's scary how fast you can lose yourself. Anybody can get got.

If you start a cult, I'll join.
