Nobody gives a fukk as long as you got money. I personally think the actual natives are rude, but they rude to everybody cause they caked the fukk up. I'd say you'd get more racism if you were an American that looked Filipino or Indian...but since you usually can't touch the Arab chicks there's plenty of European, Filipina, Ethiopian, etc chicks to go around. And dudes too, they love the sistas!!

they have sharia law but money talks there, alcohol is illegal there but some how they have bars and shyt, its just expensive, i remember payin like $120 for a bottle of rum from a bar

Dubai is a great place to visit. If you don't like the heat then this isn't the place for you. I reccomend City Center for shopping. I'd reccomend a driver from your hotel or the airport to put you on to shopping at the bootleg joints where you can cop all the top name brand knock offs; Gucci, Rolex, Hermes etc. But whatever you do don't get caught in one of these places or thats your a$$....

Aside from that the nightlife is decent, depending on the hotel you're staying in some have bars and clubs within the premises. Dubai is a great place to buy gold, so if you wanna get ya shine on check out any Gold Saulk, most major commercial areas and shopping centres have them. I went in August for 4 days but didn't really get a chance to see the 7 star underwater hotel or ride any Camels.

As long as you aren't trying to get into any crazy stuff you'll have fun and you won't be bothered. Dubai is full of tourists and the locals only come out at night most of the time to shop. You see the men dressed in all white while the women are all in black fully covered up while its 115 degrees out. I got pix if you're interested, the UAE is a great place, check it out!

going in 2 months, then off to the maldives from there. I'm thinking about visiting the malls, that indoor ski resort, the local shops, indian/paki restaurants, camel riding, and sky diving.

My boy acually moved there a few years ago and always tell me to come through but I wouldn't dare mainly due to the drug laws.

I read about that story of dude getting knocked for having a weed grain on his shoe and heard another one of some dude who had poppy seeds on his shirt from "a bagel he ate at Heathrow: and he got hemmed up too.

Yea it's pretty much a big ass American city in the Middle East. Everywhere you go people speak english. A lot of shyt to do but when i was there around this time of the year it was over 110 degrees at night time...

Definetly an experience tho, I seen plenty bentley's and lambo's out there and that was just at the mall.
