A suit from the ground up, fully measured to your body and customized? Thinking of getting a high quality Navy one since my off the rack Suitsupply one wasn't fitting me and I sold it

I just copped me a tailored zegna suit a few days ago since it's cheaper in Europe. After everything was said and done it cost me a lil over $2000

I also bought me a strellson grey pinstripe that came out to €400 for something I can just toss on and not give a damn about

To be honest, just look up tailors in your area....I am sure you can find one who you can work with to make you look sharper than a katana

I have a suit measured & fitted but it wasn't built from the ground up. It was in stock & picked out to fit me.

3 piece suit.

Yea I got one made when I was in Thailand a few years back. There's a service in NYC where the tailors will measure you in the city but tailors in Hong Kong will make and ship it back to you.

I don't exactly need such suits either
...but I got broad shoulders and I like how they look on me and the response when I wear the tailored isn't bad either


We might be in the same boat - of getting one in the next few years (I'm actually dropping dozens of lbs and didn't plan on buying such a thing until then)

So of course if its bespoke, you want it to be local.
What I'd end up doing is hitting hideoki bespoke though.

TL;DR find a preferably, but not-necessarily black owned tailor, shop around your city, expect to spend ~3-6k, check their reviews

I really just need a powerful Navy suit that I can throw on and I look like a million bucks. I've been looking at materials for the inner coat lining, the cut, etc.

I may go with a local guy that does bespoke suiting since I can just pop in and out for adjustments.
