What did he mean by burning house? What what political play was afoot leading up to this? Did you listen to the whole speech or are you taking lines out of context like most people.... also.. MLK was speaking on a form of reparations like 4 to 5 years prior to this before the civil rights act was even passed i think..

This is from the same interview yes he still had hope that blacks and whites could come together but he also learned that it's not so simple and Saw how deep the hate and racism ran in white people for black people

He didn't he wanted to believe that a good amount of white folks were good people that they could fix the system more easily but in the year's fighting the system Martin found out that most white people wanted to keep the same white supremacy system even the "Good ones" wanted to keep it he finally understood
